We are a Black-led, intergenerational collective committed to building and sustaining long-term relationships within our community. Grounded in the principles of the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, we prioritize moving at the speed of trust, centering our work on deep, lasting connections rather than short-term gains. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space that fosters open dialogue, healing, and accountability. Guided by our living community agreements, we listen to and support each other with grace, while celebrating our achievements together. Our work is rooted in collaboration with local organizations and leaders, and we remain accountable to our community through regular reporting to an advisory committee. We are dedicated to uplifting our youth and ensuring that our efforts reflect the collective spirit and strength of those who live, work, and play along the MLK corridor.
